A Day at SunTrust Park

This past weekend my Husband and I ventured up to Atlanta to go to the Braves and Phillies series. Let's just say I thought I was a MLB fan before. As a Braves fan, I may be biased but I truly believe SunTrust Park is one of the most beautiful ballparks to visit.
Let's start at The Battery -
Run, don't walk to Terrapin Tap Room
I am the first to admit, I am not the biggest fan of craft beer but a MUST try is the Frenchy's Blues. Named after Atlanta Braves broadcaster and former Braves Outfielder, Jeff Francoeur - Impress your significant other with that fact ;) If you like Blueberry with a little twist of sour - this will be your go to all weekend long. Also Terrapin Tap Room serves the Famous Fox Bro's BBQ, need I say more? The Food -
Start your day at Goldberg's you will not regret it. Hands down best breakfast and brunch plus, you cannot turn down the mimosa's. Goldberg's bagels are so fresh, they offer a Breakfast burger and a French toast sandwich, you really can't go wrong. Our next stop was Live!, if you are in Atlanta and didn't have a chance to buy tickets to the game I highly recommend popping in there to watch the game. Live! takes "sports bar" to a whole different level. Their wings and chicken nachos, I could eat every single day.Live! is also connected to the PBR bar which after a Braves win, PBR is the place to be.The Stadium -
Once you step foot into SunTrust Park, it's a different environment than any other sports field I've ever entered. If you didn't have enough to eat at The Battery, SunTrust Park will not let you down either. From the dippin' dots (my favorite) or the 18" long pizza's the experience is out of the park (pun intended). If you are bringing the kiddo's head over to section 152-155 to Hope & Will's Sandlot. Kids 14 and under can enjoy interactive game and experiences at no change, every Sunday at the Sandlot. SunTrust Park offer's so many activities for the kids and they can run the bases every Sunday, that's always a win!
I hope you enjoyed & this go-to-guide will help you navigate through The Battery
